We checked 1,128 plumber and electrician listings on Google Maps across 15 areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide (October 2026): 9 in 10 already have a website, and almost 1 in 4 have fewer than 10 reviews.
How we measured it
We searched Google Maps for plumbers and electricians, area by area, in early October 2026.
Each listing counts once, even when it came up in more than one search, and only listings that Google labels as a plumber or an electrician are in.
A listing “has a website” when it links to one.
Reviews are the number each listing showed on the day of the search.
